Head of Sales

The Head of Sales will be focused on driving new business for beni.fit. This position represents a fantastic opportunity for a self-starter who has proven sales in benefits insurance to scale the company into a multi-million dollar, best-in-class company.

The Head of Sales will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for creating winning formulas to drive sales for specific segments and geographies across the US.

This position will work closely with our customer account team for successful retention tactics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Devise and implement the company’s sales strategy.
  • Set revenue targets for the company and close new business to meet those targets.
  • Speak at conferences and events about the company’s products and services.
  • Implement sales strategies across the company and monitor effectiveness.
  • Work closely with the accounts team in order to retain existing business.
  • Work with CEO on budgeting and planning.
  • Negotiate agreements for contracts with customers and carriers ensuring commerciality.
  • Implement an effective sales pipeline and lead tracking process, leveraging our CRM
  • Implement best practice in sales techniques throughout the company.
Background of the Sales Director
  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting and exceeding targets
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Previous experience working as a sales director ideally for a similar organization.
  • Natural leader with an ability to inspire performance with sales teams.
  • Strong commercial outlook and an entrepreneurial approach to business development.
  • Formal sales training would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Life/Health producer license required
Account Manager – Benefits

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager (at least 2 years prior experience and outstanding outcomes/results) who can join the team and make an impact to our business results and our client experience.  You will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and be experienced in the health insurance industry working with carriers, clients and the key processes that ensure high satisfaction for all stakeholders.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

  • Care of a defined customer base, day to day servicing needs of their employee benefits and wellbeing programs.
  • Onboarding and servicing new customers.
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Point of contact with insurance carriers for beni.fit administrative activities, marketing of plans and keeping track of compliance with carriers throughout all 50 states.
  • Producing collateral and content for the wellbeing program and Employee Benefit Consultancy based on feedback from the customer base assigned to you, includes applications such as InDesign, Power point, excel.
